King's Camp is a 90+ acre campground that has a lake full of fish, a playground, basketball court, sand volleyball court and gaga pit. There is a bathhouse with showers and flush toilets nearby as well as potable water and some electricity. We have reserved their "Grace Center" which has a kitchen and an indoor area in which to set up our buffet meals. The Grace Center also has an outdoor deck with tables for dining.
Families can choose to camp for one night, two nights, or just come for the day on Saturday. The Crossover Ceremony will be held Saturday at 4pm. Scouts should bring their Class A shirt to wear for the ceremony. Scouts will cross the bridge to receive their neckerchief for their next grade level rank and if completed, receive their rank patch.
Please sign up by May 10th on the pack website. Please note if you will be camping one night, two nights or coming Saturday only. A sign up is needed even if you just come for the day so that we can plan meals. A campout schedule and packing list are also attached. Don't forget your refillable water bottle.

What is the Blue and Gold Celebration?
The Blue and Gold Celebration is an annual event celebrated by Cub Scout packs in the Boy Scouts of America, primarily to mark the founding date of Scouting on February 8th, 1910, essentially acting as a "birthday party" for the organization; it's often a time to recognize achievements, award badges, and include a special ceremony for AOL Scouts transitioning to Boy Scouts, all while incorporating the colors blue (representing truth and loyalty) and gold (representing happiness and good cheer) which are significant to Scouting values.
